Our lives transformed by the love of Jesus Christ, we exist to give God glory by igniting faith, community, and mission in the hearts of broken people like us.
WeIGNITE FAITH in God as a local church with our Sunday morning worship experience. We also have two courses—“Discover Ignite 101”, where new comers can come and see what we are about, and “Ignite Service 102” where members can figure out where they are passionate to serve if they haven’t already. In all of this, our hope is that these things will play out in the believer’s everyday life.
We IGNITE COMMUNITY among believers with small groups where we grow together, and strive to not wear masks. We promote discipleship, and teach to pursue unity with the same love that Jesus pursues us. Again—with the hopes that this will play out in the believer’s everyday life.
We IGNITE MISSION to the world by nourishing our own faith in Jesus, being in communitywith one another, and planting other churches where this same thing can be done. We also give a percentage of our money to the Cooperative Program which supports local and foreign missionaries. We will do outreach events and mission trips as a church, but we believe that being on mission to tell the world about Jesus is mostly played out on the stage of...wait for it...."everyday life", and in any context.
Broken People: All humanity is broken because they are cut off from their purpose—to be in an intimate relationship with God, in community with His children, shining a light of His glory to the world. Although Christians are now walking in that purpose, they still experience residual effects of brokenness until they leave this world or Jesus returns.
Faith: Only faith in the love of God shown in the work of Jesus can turn broken people from their ways back into His loving arms. Believers in Jesus continue in this faith-relationship with God as their lives become living sacrifices of worship to Him.
Community: Followers of Jesus are not meant to function by themselves, but in tight-knit fellowship. We go to church to be together, and our relationship don't stop when we leave the church building.
Mission: This world is not our home; it is our mission field to bring other broken people to Jesus. Our building is not “the church” but rather a mission base for the church to regroup and then go back out into the world.
